Our family is going through something we never expected. My mother recently experienced a devastating house fire that has left her home severely damaged and unsafe to live in. The fire quickly spread and resulted in major damage to the outside and inside of the home. Her deck and siding were destroyed, the firefighters had to cut into the roof to put out the flames, and the garage doors were broken down to gain access. On top of that, the house is now filled with water damage from the efforts to save it. While we are incredibly grateful that she is safe, she has been left displaced and overwhelmed with the reality of what comes next. She is now facing the stress of temporary housing, repairs, and replacing basic necessities. We are asking for any support during this difficult time to help her begin rebuilding. Donations will go toward home repairs, temporary living expenses, and essential items that were lost or damaged in the fire.
