help my momma from her major car accident.

Hi my name is Oliver, and on my birthday, Tuesday, March 18th, my mom was in a terrible car accident. We received a notification from Life360 app that there was a sudden collision that happened near my old town where I used to go through to turn to work for. Around 3:19 pm, I had just settled into my car after the gym, and saw that there was a Life360 detection stating a sudden motion or collision on my mom's side. It was confirmed that she was in a car accident, and thus, was severely injured, but my family and I called the town dispatcher, crying in hysteric if there was an accident near the old state road highway, and it was confirmed to be so, and she was rushed to the hospital. Without that app, I don't think we would have known on time, and to think if we did not know and she was in the hospital alone and scared, hurt, would have been so heartbreaking.

She broke her ankle, dislocating and snapping, which her bone stuck out requiring immediate medical surgery, and at first was assessed to have six broken ribs, but then had to be reassessed once more, and it turns out she had broken sixteen ribs. I made the decision to hurry down from Wisconsin to Missouri to see her. And because we are a low income family, with me being in college, it is stressful and hard to imagine what the medical bills could stain her with. She does not deserve this, and should not deserve to worry about it.

Dawn is such a sweet, loving, and extraordinary person who would give the world to everyone while she is down. My mom has been through so so much, and as her child it hurts me to see her in pain just as she began to make progress on getting better. With every will she would have, she would do the same for me and that's why it breaks my heart to know when this accident happened she was scared, and believing she was going to die. Coming from Wisconsin to Missouri, missing college and work is something I do not regret. Family will always be first, especially my mom. For the first few nights staying at the hospital with her, I could even tell she was having nightmares about it, and I did not sleep. I will lose all the sleep in the world if it meant to make her comfortable and watch over her.

I want my mom to feel financially comfortable and not burdened, and that is why I am raising money for her while she is down, so she can build. I have this deep love for my mom, and I will also be contributing to helping her become physically and mentally better. Please help, please.
