Help my mom start over in Hendersonville

Dear friends and family,

My name is Stephanie Roseman and I'm reaching out during a difficult time for my mom, Melinda Lunsford, whose apartment has suffered a devastating flood in Hendersonville during Hurricane Helene. She has lost most of her belongings (the landlord did not have flood insurance and she did not have renter's insurance). Her apartment has not only been filled with water but also mud and sewage. She is having to figure out what few things can be salvaged and bagged up to hopefully clean later when power returns, but it has been determined with the help of volunteers in the area that most things will have to be thrown away, including furniture, etc. We're hoping to raise funds to help with living now, to go towards a down payment for a future apartment for her and to help fill it with essentials once she's there. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and would go directly towards helping her get back on her feet. For now funds will be managed in Statesville, NC where I live (Stephanie Roseman), as banks in Hendersonville are not currently running. Thank you for your support!
