My mother recently experienced a devastating fire at her apartment that took everything from her. She was out running errands when the fire broke out, and by the time she returned, her home and every single possession inside were gone. Nothing was salvageable. She has lost her clothes, furniture, personal belongings, and all the small things that made her apartment a home.

By the grace of God, she was not home when it happened, and for that we are incredibly grateful. However, because she was just out for the afternoon, she is left with only the clothes she was wearing. She currently has no other clothing, no shoes, and none of her essential medications.

We are now starting completely from scratch. This has been an emotional and overwhelming time for our family. We are doing our best to stay strong, but the reality of rebuilding her life from zero is incredibly difficult. My mother is the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone else, always putting others before herself. Now, she is the one facing the unimaginable.

We are asking for any support, big or small, to help her get back on her feet. Donations will go immediately toward urgent necessities: replacing her medications, buying essential clothing and toiletries, and securing temporary housing. Eventually, these funds will help her replace the furniture and household items she lost.
