My name is Kristine, I am the daughter of Helen.

I am reaching out with deep humility to ask for your help for my mother, who is currently recovering from colon cancer surgery at Taytay Doctors Hospital in The Philippines.

My mom is 81 years old and has always been a symbol of strength and compassion. Despite her age, she stayed active — joining Zumba dances in her own community and working at the municipality. She’s a loving, selfless woman who always puts others first.

Recently, she underwent a major operation to remove a part of her intestines due to colon cancer. Her cognitive function has started to decline also, she often gets confused or forgetful after the surgery.

Thankfully, the surgery was successful, but our family is now struggling to pay the remaining hospital bills and medicines, amounting to around ₱352,000 (≈ €5,900).

Because of these unpaid bills, my mom cannot be discharged from the hospital yet. The total bill of her hospitalization reached up to Php 775, 450.00 (11,500 euros)

As a nurse, I’ve already used up all my savings to cover her surgery and previous treatments. I also have two siblings who are sick and are dependent entirely on my parents, so we are financially drained.

We are humbly asking for any help you can give — every small donation will go directly to her hospital bills and recovery care.
