<div>My mom is 81 years old and has always been a symbol of strength and compassion. Despite her age, she stayed active — joining Zumba dances in her own community and working at the municipality. She’s a loving, selfless woman who always puts others first.

<div>Recently, she underwent a major operation to remove a part of her intestines due to colon cancer. Her cognitive function has started to decline also, she often gets confused or forgetful after the surgery.

<div>Thankfully, the surgery was successful, but our family is now struggling to pay the remaining hospital bills and medicines, amounting to around ₱352,000 (≈ €5,900).
</div>
<div>Because of these unpaid bills, my mom cannot be discharged from the hospital yet. The total bill of her hospitalization reached up to Php 775, 450.00 (11,500 euros)

<div>As a nurse, I’ve already used up all my savings to cover her surgery and previous treatments. I also have two siblings who are sick and are dependent entirely on my parents, so we are financially drained.
