My name is Jonathan. I’m the son of Carolle, founder and owner of Pharmacy Ravinala in Fénérive Est, on the east coast of Madagascar.

On July 5, 2025, a devastating fire swept through the center of our hometown. The pharmacy — along with several nearby buildings — was completely destroyed. Nothing was left. Not the inventory, not the equipment, not even the walls. A lifetime of dedication to the community vanished in smoke. For over 30 years, my mother gave everything she had to this pharmacy. It wasn’t just a job — it was her mission. She helped the sick, comforted the worried, served the forgotten. Often without asking anything in return. Now, she’s lost the place that defined her life’s work. But she hasn’t lost her spirit. And I refuse to let her face this alone. That’s why I’ve created this campaign — to help her rebuild, restore her ability to care for others, and remind her that she’s not alone.

Je m’appelle Jonathan, fils de Carolle, fondatrice et propriétaire de la Pharmacie Ravinala, à Fénérive Est, sur la côte Est de Madagascar. Le 5 juillet 2025, un incendie dévastateur a ravagé le centre-ville. La pharmacie — ainsi que plusieurs bâtiments voisins — a été totalement détruite. Plus rien ne reste : ni médicaments, ni matériel, ni bâtiment. Une vie entière de dévouement et de service est partie en fumée. Depuis plus de 30 ans, ma mère a tout donné pour cette pharmacie. Ce n’était pas juste un travail — c’était sa mission. Elle a soigné, rassuré, écouté. Elle a tendu la main, souvent au-delà de ses moyens. Aujourd’hui, elle a tout perdu, sauf son courage. Et je refuse de la laisser affronter cela seule. C’est pourquoi j’ai lancé cette campagne : pour reconstruire, lui redonner les moyens d’aider, et lui montrer qu’elle n’est pas seule.
