My mom recently had an unexpected accident in her home that left her without a working kitchen.

A kitchen cabinet that was holding her microwave suddenly detached from the wall and came crashing down onto the stove. The impact destroyed the microwave and stove and broke most of her plates and dishes. The cabinet itself was also badly damaged.

After having someone come to inspect the damage and give her an estimate, we learned that the situation is more serious than we initially thought. Two of the other kitchen cabinets are also at risk of falling and need to be repaired or replaced before another accident happens.

My mom works as a housekeeper in Florida and has been using her savings to make necessary repairs to her home. This emergency was completely unexpected, and the cost of replacing the damaged cabinets, making the remaining cabinets safe, and replacing her stove and microwave is more than she can reasonably take on right now.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover:

-Repairing and replacing the damaged and unsafe kitchen cabinets

-Replacing the stove

-Replacing the microwave

-Replacing some of the dishes and kitchen items that were destroyed

-Labor and installation costs to make the kitchen safe again

Right now, she is without a stove or microwave, so our priority is helping her get her kitchen back to a safe and usable condition as soon as possible.
