❤️ Help My Mom FIX Her Home ❤️

This past year has been incredibly difficult for my family. We lost my father last year, and just last month, my grandmother passed away. My mom has been trying to carry all of this grief on her own — and now she’s facing another heartbreaking challenge: her home has become unsafe to live in.

What should be her place of peace and healing has turned into a constant source of stress and illness. Her roof is leaking, the walls are bowing, and black mold has spread throughout the house due to trapped moisture. It’s no longer a safe environment, and it’s taking a serious toll on her health.

Four years ago, my mom was told she needed a new roof. A “friend of a friend” offered to do it at a reasonable price, and she paid him — but he never installed the ridge vents correctly. Because of that, moisture has been building up, running down the center of the house, and now the walls are buckling out. The water damage has led to black mold, and my mom, who already has severe COPD, has become even sicker from living in these conditions.

My mom has always been the kind of person who never asks for help. She’s incredibly strong and independent — the kind of woman who could fix a vehicle herself if she had to. She’s lived on very little but always managed to make things work. Now, after so much loss, she’s reached a point where she simply can’t do it alone.

Replacing the damaged roof

Repairing and reinforcing the walls

Professional mold remediation to make her home safe again
