My name is Aubrey, and Nancy is my mom. My sister and I call her Mama, her friends call her Nance, but she is most affectionately known as Ms. O.

In the last year, my mom has undoubtedly fought a difficult emotional battle and hid it all too well with courage like no other. Without sharing the private details, the most recent of events has been nothing less than unimaginable for her and our family. And while what she needs to focus on the most is the healing of these traumas for herself and my little sister, instead, she is faced with bearing the weight that all of this has done to her financially alone.

I'm asking that we raise money to help make the necessary repairs to her home after the FPD standoff, and the debt owed to keep her home out of foreclosure before it's sold. Anything more would be used for therapy costs, and the strength to begin rebuilding a life with peace.
