Help my mom get to Ireland and Scotland for her dream

My name is Ryan. You don’t know me, and I don’t expect you to feel what I feel. I just hope you read, and hear me.

My mom, Christine, is 53 years old this June. She was recently diagnosed with cancer, a rare sarcoma. Originally we were told that the chance of metastasis is low, but now doctors are saying that she’s likely metastatic. This means that with treatment, she has 3-5 years left of life.

my mom is my hero. She has struggled her whole life to give me and my siblings everything we could ask for. She’s always done right by others, and sacrificed over and over for the better of others. She struggled with so much in life. Family, money, or otherwise and never ever caught a break. And yet she still kicked ass and made her way up the ladder, becoming the sole breadwinner and providing my siblings and I with a good life. She has worked so hard, and never let go of her upbeat cheery self. Nobody deserves cancer. She doesn’t deserve cancer. This isn’t fair.

Her dream has always been to visit Ireland and Scotland, but it’s always been financially out of reach. Help me get her there. Help me give her the once in a lifetime experience she has always wanted. Her mom wanted this trip, but passed away before they could go. Help me get her there for the both of them.
