Hi, my name is Kaitlyn, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my amazing mother — a strong, loving woman who is doing her best to hold our family together after everything has fallen apart.

Our lives have been turned upside down by the actions of my stepdad. He left behind destruction — emotionally, financially, and physically. Because of him, my mom is now a single parent caring for two young children (my 12-year-old sister and 3-year-old brother) in a house that’s unfinished, unsafe, and barely livable.

On top of that, his actions and accusations have now affected me directly — I’ve been given 60 days to find a new place to live because of the fallout. Our family has suffered deeply, and the consequences just keep growing.

To make matters worse, my younger sister Kara — who is preparing to go off to college — was the victim of a horrible crime committed by her father. We are all dealing with incredible trauma and heartbreak.

This fundraiser will go toward:

• Repairs or relocation for my mom and siblings so they can live safely

• Basic bills and everyday necessities

• Mental health and trauma counseling for our whole family

• Helping Kara begin her college journey with the support she needs

• Helping me secure a new place to live after being displaced & being a Victim as well
