My mother and grandmother are going through an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. My mother has been out of work for the past few years, and her health has been gradually declining, which has made it even harder for her to regain stability. My grandmother receives a fixed monthly income from Social Security, but it is not enough to cover the cost of living. Earlier this year, my father rented an apartment for himself without consulting my mother, leaving her to figure out housing for herself and my grandmother. Since then, they have been staying in an extended-stay hotel while trying to find a more stable place to live.

My sister and I have been sending money whenever we can to help cover the daily hotel cost, but our own finances are limited, and we are struggling to keep up with the expense on our own. I am starting this fundraiser because I want to do everything I can to help my mother and grandmother remain in a safe place while they search for stable housing. The funds raised will help pay for their hotel stay so they can avoid losing the roof over their heads and have time to find a longer-term living situation.

Asking for help is not easy, but I am reaching out because my family truly needs support right now. I will do anything I can to help my parents, and any form of support is deeply appreciated.
