My name is Civri, and this GoFundMe was originally created to support my grandpa, Lolo Carding, after he suffered a stroke in the Philippines. Lolo Carding was the heart of our family — silly, loving, full of riddles, magic tricks, and dad jokes that always made us laugh.

He helped raise me, bought me toys, played with me, and cared for me like a dad would. I haven’t seen him for six years since we immigrated to the U.S., but he has always meant the world to me. He went through so much these past few weeks, and our family did everything we could to get him the care he needed. But yesterday, our beloved Lolo Carding passed away.

This has been incredibly painful for all of us. We’re now facing funeral and memorial expenses, as well as remaining medical bills and travel costs for family supporting everything from afar. Every contribution — whether through donation, prayers, or sharing the link — will help us give him a respectful memorial and support our family during this time.
