Hello everyone! My name is Anna Lebid, I'm Ukrainian and I'm married to a kind Palestinian man, Mustafa Awad. He was a refugee in Ukraine and had to move again because of war in Ukraine. Now we are safe thanks God with our two kids ‍‍‍ in Sweden.

My heart is longing for my homeland , family and relatives who are still in Ukraine and surely I worry about them and all Ukrainians who suffer because of Russian's invasion.

But at the same time it brakes every time when I see news about Gaza or when I get in contact with my husband's family.

(By the way, we have contact only with one of brothers, Mohammed Awad

and he writes very seldom, because of electricity⚡️ and bombings. He is with mother, Tahani Awad, father, Kamel Awad, and brother, Izziddin Awad, at the same place now, but they even don't know anything about other two sisters, Dalal and Fatmeh, and brother, Muath Awad, their children and spouses , even whether they are alive or not)

It's so heartbreaking to see all these unfairness, unequality and double standards relative to Palestinians.

When war broke out in Ukraine we felt and got incredible support all around the world, all boarders opened for us, so that all who wanted could evacuate, there was even free travelling in many countries for Ukrainians and we got a lot of humanitarian aid and still the world continues to help and support Ukraine and Ukrainians, what I'm very thankful for .

But what about Gaza? What about Palestinians? How can all this "world" just watch people dying and starving , especially children.

To tell the truth, I'm worried about my husband's family in Gaza, more than about my own in Ukraine now. Because at least

1. They have electricity⚡️ and Internet, so that I can keep in touch with them.

2. They have food

3. They have water

4. They have access to medical care⚕️ and medicines

5. They are free to leave Ukraine whenever they want.

But none of these have or can Palestinians, and my husband's family among them.

Despite I begged them to leave after the 7th of October, they didn't want and refused to leave their homeland

No one expected that the war would last this long⏳️ and that they would reach all this destruction, greed, death, famine and atrocities.

Besides, leaving the country is not easy, especially for a large family‍ and it requires a lot of money.

As thousands of other Palestinians my husband's family is suffering from hunger, lack of water and medicines , they live in a tent ⛺️ now, because their home was destroyed by bombing and they had to move to Rafah looking for the safe place, which unfortunately isn't safe as well.

Finally, I found the way to evacuate them from there. But we don't have such an amount of money to help them.

I beg you help me to rescue them, while it is possible.

Every cent makes difference.

Don't stand aside please.
