Hi, I’m Lesly and the reason I started this GoFundMe is for my husband who just got deported. My husband got arrested this morning while going to work. They said one of his brake lights didn’t work. He called me while they stopped him. I spoke over the phone with the officer since he doesn’t speak English that well. The officer said that he needed to go back to his car to write him a warning. All of a sudden, I heard him saying they were arresting him. My heart broke. I went to see him at the police station; they didn’t even call me to say he was there. I had his location, thank God. I went, and they didn’t even let me see him . They said they couldn’t do anything and that ICE was on its way to pick him up.

We have a one-month-old at home who needs him . I don’t know what I am going to do without him and support ourselves. He was only going to work! He doesn’t drink nor commit crimes; he was only going to work. What they are doing is cruel; now my son may have to grow up without his father. Life is unfair. He was just going to work to provide for us. Now I have to pay the lawyer's fees and leave my one-month-old son to work to be able to afford it. It’s been hard, and I just want him back home with me and my baby.
