Hi friends,
I’m reaching out because my hometown in the Philippines, Barangay Daantabogon, Tabogon, Cebu, was hit by the 6.9 earthquake on September 30, 2025. My family is there right now, and the whole community is really struggling.
Daantabogon is a small barangay of about 1,606 people ([PhilAtlas](https://www.philatlas.com/visayas/r07/cebu/tabogon/daantabogon.html)). It’s not a big place and doesn’t usually make the news, but the people there need urgent help.
What It’s Like Right Now:
• No electricity
• No phone signal
• No water service
Families are trying to survive with very limited supplies.
What They Need Most:
The donations will go toward buying essentials like:
• Rice and noodles
• Canned goods
• Milk
• Drinking water
• Candles for light
How to Help:
All funds will go directly to my family and neighbors in Daantabogon. I’ll personally make sure it reaches them via messenger thru my sister.
You can donate through:
(Please Type it in, won’t automatically fund by choosing Venmo)
• Venmo: @Yokz-
I’m offering these options to avoid extra fees and make sure the support gets to them faster.
For Updates:
Since there’s no electricity and no signal in the barangay right now, communication is very limited. As soon as my family is able to send updates and photos, I will post them here so you can see the relief reaching them.
Also, if there are extra funds after covering Daantabogon’s needs, we will extend help to neighboring towns in Tabogon that were also affected.
Thank You
Even a small amount — makes a big difference in a small town like ours.
Thank you so much for your prayers, generosity, and love. It means a lot to me and my family in Cebu.
