Help My Grandpa Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

Recently, my grandpa’s home of over 50 years was tragically destroyed in a fire caused by an electrical issue with his air conditioner. This house wasn’t just a structure — it was filled with decades of memories, love, and history. It’s where he built a life with his wife, who sadly passed away in 2009. With the fire, we also lost all the remaining belongings that held her memory — photos, keepsakes, and cherished mementos.

The fire took everything — clothes, food, furniture, appliances. Now, there’s nothing left. My grandpa is starting from scratch and, while we’re hopeful that insurance will eventually help with replacing his trailer, that support may take time. In the meantime, he’s living in a small camper, doing his best to stay strong in the face of incredible loss.
