Help my Grandma Move to Rapid: I’m her Only Family

This fundraiser is for my grandma Susan and I. We want to raise money for her to move to Rapid City. We humbly ask for any donation you can spare to help our cause
I am the only person that my grandmother has in this world and she is my greatest support. We have lived 1,500 miles apart for almost 12 years now. Ever since 2011 she has been completely alone, living in poverty because she is unable to work. The house she lives in now has holes in the roof, mice in the walls and mold that is affecting her health. She deserves so much better than that. My grandma Susan has undergone several major surgeries while living alone and it breaks my heart that no one was there for her. She can hardly get around without her walker
With your help we can be together so that she never has to be alone again. The sooner the better. It has been a long 12 years
Based on my calculations it will cost about $3,000 just for the Uhaul, gas, food and hotel rooms we will need to get her moved from Mars Hill, NC to Rapid City, SD in 3 days. That cost doesn’t include any of the money we will need for her to make a deposit on a place to live or extra costs we may have forgotten about
I am working hard at FedEx to save as much money as I can to help her but we can’t do this alone. If you could find it in your heart to donate even just $5 we would be incredibly grateful.
