My grandma is turning 80 years old on April 20th, and she has been my best friend ever since my grandpa passed away five years ago. I started living with her, and she’s always been there for me, driving me to work and making sure I’m taken care of. Her kindness and strength have shaped my life, and I’m so grateful for everything she’s done.

Recently, we hit a rough patch. Our truck broke down about a month ago with an engine problem that we simply can’t afford to fix. Without a vehicle, it’s been incredibly hard for both of us. She needs a car not only to help me get to work, but also to get to her own appointments and stay connected with friends and family. We’ve reached out for help, but so far, nobody has lended a hand. I’ve been having to stay with my mom most days and can’t see my grandma or my rabbit as much.
