Hello, my name is John Dowling; this fundraiser is for my international college roommate's parents. My roommate's and best friend's name is Kosta Kaldaras; he goes to Fairfield University and studies Electrical Engineering, hoping for a better future. He has recently found out that his parents that live in Kharkiv, Ukraine, were forced to move out due to the proximity of the bombs around their home. The decision to leave their home of 30 + years has not come easy, but they do not feel safe in their own home. They have spent days without electricity, water or heat. Kosta has not seen his parents in over eight years and is constantly worried about their safety.

Kosta has always has had a smile on his face and is always there to help anyone that needs it. I think it is time that we all come together as a community and bring that smile back to his faces.Please help me get his family back together.
