My friend and his partner, owners of Chasing Tailor in East Williamsburg (566 Lorimer St), recently went through a devastating experience when their apartment caught fire in the middle of the night. Thankfully, they made it out safely, but the fire destroyed their home and many of their belongings. Now, they are left searching for a new place to stay while also trying to keep their family-run small business going during this incredibly difficult time.
They have always been dedicated members of our community, running a local business that brings people together and supports neighbors in countless ways. The sudden loss of their home has been overwhelming, and the costs of finding temporary housing and replacing essential items are adding up quickly. Despite these challenges, they are determined to rebuild and continue serving the community they love.
We are asking for donations to help them get back on their feet after this devastating fire. Your support will go directly toward covering the costs of temporary housing and replacing the belongings they lost. Any amount you can give will make a real difference and is deeply appreciated as they work to recover and move forward.
