My dear friend recently went through the end of a long-term relationship that left her emotionally and financially devastated. Like so many women, she gave her heart fully and was left to pick up the pieces on her own. She is now facing the very real possibility of becoming unhoused, with little to no family support to fall back on. Watching someone so kind, hardworking, and deserving go through this has been absolutely heartbreaking.

As if navigating the emotional weight of this chapter wasn’t enough, her car—her only reliable transportation—is also in desperate need of repair. Without it, getting to work and maintaining stability becomes even more challenging. We’re hoping to alleviate the added life pressures and unexpected costs so she can focus on rebuilding her life rather than just surviving each day.
