My name is Anne Lamb and I live in the Bronx in New York City.
I am raising funds for Heba Ibrahim in Rafah.
Heba has been my friend for several years, and it is excruciating that I cannot do more to help her and her children at this time. Heba has six wonderful children: Abdullah, Ashraf, Youssef, Aline, Hadaya, and Aya.
We have only been able to communicate sporadically via social media since the current siege began. As people know, starvation is being used as a weapon. Many people, especially children, have already died of starvation amid this engineered deliberate famine.
Since humanitarian aid is only entering Gaza at a trickle if at all, the black market is thriving, and food has become very expensive when it is even available. As a mother with six small children, Heba faces serious obstacles in obtaining sufficient food for Abdullah, Ashraf, Youssef, Aline, Hadaya, and Aya.
I am so sad and angry every time I do see them, since they have all become very thin, in addition to suffering the constant bombings and the incessant drones. The entire family is completely traumatized, which can be clearly seen on their faces.
Please donate and help save Heba and her childrens' lives! As a Palestinian-American woman said to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin: "My child is human! Stop killing Palestinian children!" as she held up her 16-month-old son, Hamza.
