I am sending you this message from the heart of besieged Gaza, a city suffering from a deep wound that does not heal, a story of steadfastness drawn by historical events accompanied by the blood of martyrs.

Here in northern Gaza, we have been bearing the brunt of the blockade for 700 days, facing countless daily challenges. From shortages of food, essential goods, and medicine, to water shortages, to repeated attacks by the occupation army, which have resulted in the deaths of many displaced civilians living in tents that are not protected from the cold, rain, and Israeli shelling.

In a few days, the supplies we rely on to make bread will run out, and we will have nothing to eat. We will starve to death. Our children have nothing to play with but the rubble left by the attacks.

However, despite all this, we remain hopeful. We are continuing to resist and fight for freedom and dignity.

We call on the whole world to act to stop this bloodshed in Gaza and to end this unjust blockade that threatens the lives of more than half a million people.
