My friend has faced more challenges than most people can imagine. Growing up in an unstable environment, he’s always worked hard to overcome the odds. Now, as a college student at GCU, he’s hit another major obstacle—he’s been financially cut off by his parent. This sudden loss of support means he can’t afford tuition, is at risk of losing his car, and has been kicked out of his home. He’s doing everything he can to find a job before summer, but even with work, it’s unlikely he’ll have enough to cover basic needs by the end of the semester.
