I am originally from Nepal and currently in Australia completing my studies. My father has been diagnosed with a kidney tumor in his right kidney, and doctors suspect it is RCC (Renal Cell Carcinoma). Because Nepal does not have access to robotic partial nephrectomy, we have no choice but to seek treatment in India at Medanta Hospital.
The tumor is hypervascular, which makes the surgery more complex and requires additional tests and specialized care. The doctors have informed us that the procedure will be costly due to its critical nature. Unfortunately, Nepal does not have insurance or government support systems that can help cover these medical expenses.
My father is an ex-army serviceman who spent his entire savings raising us, funding our education, and supporting our family. We have very limited financial resources now, and the cost of surgery in India is beyond what my family can manage. I recently completed my master’s degree in Australia, and I am still repaying my education loan. Until a month ago, I was on a restricted 24-hour weekly work limit, so I do not yet have the financial capacity to cover this treatment on my own.
This fundraiser is our only hope to get my father the surgery he urgently needs. I have attached the approximate cost estimate provided by Medanta Hospital. Every contribution—big or small—will bring us one step closer to saving his life.
Your kindness will stay with us forever. One day, when I am in a better position, I promise to pay this help forward to someone else in need.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, prayers, and generosity.
