Hi there, I'm asking for some help to get my father Liam in a more manageable situation.

Liam has had some burdens lately and some blessings. About a year ago, Dad was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a disease that prevents Liam from being able to do much in the way of physical activity, leading to muscle weakness and severe fatigue. To compound the situation, my father had to shut down his computer consulting business as any income he makes beyond his social security payments jeopardizes his access to the healthcare he needs.

About 6 months ago, Liam's partner and landlord, Jess, passed away from a quickly developing cancer. Liam was there to care for her through this, and the blessing was that Jess left my father with her trailer and a stable place to live, and a portion of the house to possibly rent out. If he could rent this space out, he could have a small amount of income to help him keep up with the bills, which at the moment is slowly going in the wrong direction.

However, as sudden partings often go, a lot of lifelong accumulation was left behind, and my father is not physically able to tackle a project of this size on his own. I'm planning on flying back out to California in a couple of weeks to help get this cleaned up and try and help get this space ready for a tenant. I'm just looking to cover some travel expenses, cleaning supplies, some plumbing repairs, and possibly some waste hauling.

Anything you'd be willing to pitch in would be greatly appreciated by my father and myself. Thank you
