I am Nasser Abu Qashlan, a father of three children: Awad, Abdullah, and little Mohammed, who is only three months old.

Before the war, we lived a simple and stable life. I owned a grocery shop, our source of income and security.

In the first days of the war, my home and my livelihood were completely destroyed by bombing. We didn’t just lose a house, we lost our safety and everything we had built over many years. Even more painful, I lost my dear father, brother, nephew, and more than 20 members of my family.

We were forced to flee many times, moving from place to place, from Rafah to Al-Zawayda, searching for safety and never truly finding it. We lived through fear and famine. There were days when my children and I had no food at all.

Today, I am trying to stand again for my children and my sick mother. I created this GoFundMe to help provide food for my children, medical care for my mother, and to rebuild a small food business so I can support my family and start a new life with dignity.
