Help my family through this difficult time

My name is Brittany Drake, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my beloved uncle, Justin, who was like a second father to me.

Justin was just 54 years old—a devoted husband to his soulmate Sandy for over 30 years, and the loving father of 3 children, all under the age of 30. His youngest, Payton, is still in high school. Justin was the heart of his family, their emotional rock and primary provider.

On Saturday evening, he was involved in a tragic accident. He was airlifted to a trauma center in Bakersfield and placed on life support. For a few days, we held onto hope…. he was showing signs of improvement and was preparing to be transferred to Cedars-Sinai. But in the early hours of the morning, his heart gave out, and we lost him.

We are devastated.

I’m starting this fundraiser not only to help cover the costs of his funeral and memorial services, but also to provide some support for his wife and children during this incredibly difficult time. With Justin gone, they’re not only grieving the loss of their husband and father…. they’re also suddenly without their main source of income.
