My family faces death every moment, enduring hunger, devastation, destruction, and displacement. My father, who once owned a restaurant, and my brother, who worked alongside him, lost their source of livelihood after the restaurant was bombed. My eldest sister, who worked as an engineer, lost her job after our home was destroyed. Today, they live through moments of despair and suffering in every detail. Access to water, shelter (a tent), food, and even treatment for my father—all of it requires money.

The conflict struck our lives and turned them upside down. Before the destruction, we worked hard to provide ourselves with all the necessities of life. Now, we find ourselves helpless in the face of harsh circumstances. My father, who has become ill with heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure, stands powerless before these dire conditions. Even what remained of our belongings was destroyed while we were in the tents.

We fled from place to place in search of a safe refuge, but each time we faced more hardships, pain, and death. We settled in tents that lack the basic conditions for a dignified life, forced to search for remnants of water and food amid the absence of aid and skyrocketing prices. We slept on the streets in the cold.

Amid this daily struggle and the worsening condition of my sick father, my mother has taken on the burden of the family alone. She now suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes, and needs eye surgery. My brother also injured his foot from constant movement and trying to escape death. All of this requires treatment and medicine that my family cannot afford in these difficult circumstances. Hunger and thirst gnaw at them, and they spend nights without food or water, all while trying to escape the death that relentlessly pursues them.

The suffering of my stricken family continues, facing situations that make them feel helpless and weak. Yet, we still believe that there are those who can help us.
