Hi friends, family, and community, I’m reaching out with humility and hope to ask for help with something that means the world to my small family: buying our very first home in the Auburn, California area. We’re not dreaming big — we’re aiming for something extremely modest, but safe and stable. Ideally, a small 2-bedroom home (or even a prefab home) where we can finally put down roots.

With the cost of living rising so quickly, saving for a down payment has become harder than we ever imagined. We work hard and keep pushing forward, but life has gotten more expensive in every direction, and it’s reached a point where we need to lean on our community for support. We have to move soon, and the urgency of our situation has made us realize how much a stable home would mean for our family. It would give us a place to breathe, feel secure, and finally build a future instead of constantly trying to catch up.
