My name is Eric, and right now my family and I are facing a crisis in the dead of winter—we have no water in our home. It started with a busted pipe, but when a plumber came to look, they found a much bigger problem with our well. The next day, a well specialist checked our system and discovered that our well is so old, it can't be repaired. The only solution is to install a completely new well system, and along with fixing the pipes, the total cost is more than we can afford on our own.

Living without water means we can't use the bathroom, take showers, do laundry, or even wash dishes. The stress of not having these basic essentials is overwhelming, especially during the holidays. Being able to restore water to our home would truly be a Christmas miracle for my family.

As a veteran who served three tours in a combat zone, I know how to survive in difficult times. But my family shouldn't have to endure this hardship, especially in the middle of winter. I am deeply grateful for my service to this country, and I believe in the kindness of our community.
