Urgent need to rebuild my grandparent’s house and help them with food, clothing and furniture. Hurricane Melissa has completely devastated my family’s home in Jamaica that has sheltered four generations of our family. What once held our laughter, memories, and legacy now lies in ruins.
Eight of my loved ones who lived in that home are now homeless. They’ve lost not just their possessions, but a piece of our family history — a home that stood for decades as a symbol of love, resilience, and togetherness.
I’m seeking donations to help rebuild our family home and provide immediate support with food, clothing, and basic necessities as they start again from scratch. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping them find safety, stability, and hope after this unimaginable loss.
Your kindness will help bring a piece of our family back together and remind them that even in the face of disaster, compassion endures.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting in any way you can.
