A storm hit, and while my mom was taking my little brother to school, a tree fell right onto their house. Only the dogs and cat were inside, but the damage was huge—powerline down, roof busted, walls and bricks everywhere, and some rooms are totally blocked off. The house is going to be condemned now.

They lost access to their home and all their personal belongings, and now they’re facing homelessness. It’s been really overwhelming for my family, and we’re just trying to figure out what to do next. We’re hoping to get them into a new place as soon as possible, but it’s a lot to handle all at once.

Any money raised will help them cover moving and storage costs, pay for a deposit and rent on a new place, and give them somewhere safe to stay until they find a new home. If you can’t donate, please share this or send a prayer. Every bit of support means so much right now.

My mom wanted me to let everyone know that they have found a house and are now trying to get everything moved that they can salvage and were able to access. At the moment, all three bedrooms are inaccessible due to the tree being right on top of them. So now any donations will go directly towards helping them replace the things they lost. That includes necessities and all their beds, furniture, (except for the couch) clothes etc. We are very grateful for the donations they have already received and just overall glad that nobody was hurt.
