On April 8th, our lives changed in an instant. My mom’s house caught fire, and my little sister was trapped upstairs. She became unconscious from smoke inhalation and was flown to Pittsburgh, where she has remained stable. The shock and fear of that day are still with us, but we’re grateful that everyone made it out alive.

Despite anything insurance covers, we still have many immediate needs—medical bills, temporary housing, and replacing the essentials that were lost. The process of rebuilding is overwhelming, and there are so many unexpected expenses that come up along the way. We’re hoping this fundraiser can help with what insurance doesn’t cover and provide backup funds for anything urgent that arises. Every bit of support will help us take the first steps toward recovery and give my mom and little sister some peace of mind during this difficult time.

I am their son and older brother, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my mom and my little sister to help them through this.

All funds raised will go directly to supporting them—covering medical expenses, temporary housing, replacing essential items that were lost, and helping with day-to-day needs while they recover and rebuild.
