Last night, my children and I experienced a devastating house fire caused by a lightning strike. We barely escaped with our lives, leaving our home with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. Everything we owned was lost in the fire, and now we are facing the challenge of starting over from scratch. The shock and heartbreak of losing our home has been overwhelming, but I am grateful that we are safe.
