On April 25th, our apartment building caught on fire, leaving my family and me in a desperate situation. We thought we were protected, but the person handling our insurance policy failed to include renters insurance on our new policy. Now, we are facing the possibility of homelessness, and the stress has been overwhelming for all of us.

My family includes my 77-year-old mother, my youngest son, and myself. Just last month, I was hospitalized and nearly lost my life, so this crisis has hit us especially hard. We have lost our home and most of our belongings, and we are struggling to find a safe place to stay. The funds raised through this campaign will help us secure shelter, replace essential items, and begin to rebuild our lives after this devastating event.
