Hello family and friends,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support during a very difficult time. Over the weekend, my family’s home in Veracruz, Mexico was hit by severe flooding. The water rose so high that it completely covered the first floor, destroying everything inside — furniture, appliances, clothes, and even my mom’s small store that she worked so hard to build from nothing. In just a few hours, years of effort and memories were washed away.

Right now, they have no water, no electricity, and are surviving on the small amount of food that was left. They’re trying to clean up and rebuild with very little, facing each day with strength and faith despite everything they’ve lost. Seeing our home — the place where so many memories were made — under water has been truly heartbreaking.

I’m doing everything I can from afar to help them recover, but as some of you know, I’m also managing on my own with limited resources.

Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping my family replace what was lost, get basic supplies, and start rebuilding their lives. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean more to me than words can express.

Les escribo para pedir su apoyo en un momento muy difícil. Este fin de semana, la casa de mi familia en Veracruz, México, fue gravemente afectada por una inundación. El agua subió tanto que cubrió por completo el primer piso, destruyendo todo lo que había dentro: muebles, electrodomésticos, ropa e incluso la pequeña tienda de mi mamá, que con tanto esfuerzo y dedicación logró construir desde cero. En solo unas horas, se perdieron años de trabajo y recuerdos.

En este momento, no tienen agua, ni electricidad, y están sobreviviendo con la poca comida que les quedó. Están tratando de limpiar y reconstruir con muy pocos recursos, enfrentando cada día con fuerza y fe a pesar de todo lo que han perdido. Ver nuestro hogar —el lugar donde crecimos y compartimos tantos momentos— bajo el agua ha sido devastador.

Estoy haciendo todo lo posible desde lejos para ayudarles a recuperarse, pero como muchos saben, también estoy sola y con recursos limitados.

Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, irá directamente a ayudar a mi familia a reemplazar lo que se perdió, conseguir lo necesario para sobrevivir y comenzar de nuevo. Su apoyo, generosidad y oraciones significan más de lo que las palabras pueden expresar.
