Our family is going through one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced. My grandmother’s home recently caught fire and was on the news, and everyone living with her lost everything.

My grandmother’s home held years of memories. So many of her grandchildren grew up there, surrounded by family, love, and special moments we will always remember. Losing that home has been heartbreaking.

What makes this even harder is that we also lost our beloved dog in the fire. Her passing was not mentioned in the news, but for our family, she was so much more than a pet—she was part of our family, and losing her has been devastating.
