Hello everyone,

My name is Angello, and I’m originally from St.Elizabeth Jamaica, though I currently live in Berlin Germany. I’m creating this fundraiser to help my father who still lives in our family home in St.Elizabeth Jamaica.

Our community was hit hard by Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm that left devastating damage across the parish. My dad’s home suffered major destruction his kitchen and bathroom were completely blown away, and the roof and walls were severely damaged. There’s still no water, no electricity, and little access to food or communication in the area.

My father is in his 70s and no longer able to work. He has always been a hardworking, kind man who spent his life caring for his family. Now, he needs my/our help to rebuild his home and restore his basic living conditions.

All donations will go directly toward rebuilding my father’s home and covering essential recovery needs, including:

• Rebuilding the kitchen and bathroom (materials, labor, plumbing, fixtures)

• Roof and wall repairs to make the home safe again

• Replacing basic furniture and household essentials (stove, fridge, bed)

• Purchasing clean water, food, and emergency supplies until utilities are restored

• Covering transportation and delivery costs for materials

I’ll be managing the funds personally, transferring them directly to local builders and suppliers in Jamaica, and providing updates with photos of progress so donors can see exactly how their help is being used.
