Hi, my name is Viki, I'm 38 year old mum of 2 beautiful children and the partner of an awesome man. This January I was diagnosed with primary Breast cancer and in February I was told that it had spread to my spine and right hip. The CT has since shown masses in both my stomach and lungs which they believe are also metastatic. I have been told that the treatment will be palliative rather than curative meaning that unfortunately I'm not going to survive this. I'm hoping that with radiotherapy and chemotherapy I will hopefully get to spend as much time as possible with my family and friends before I become too unwell. Many of you know I've been out of work due to my mental health problems for a few years and we don't have any savings put aside for emergencies. I'm scared of leaving my family with the horrendous burden of a funeral and debts to pay for so I just want to make dying as easy as possible for my family and maybe be able to make a few lasting memories for my kids.
