Help With Moving Back to Miami From Tampa

My family and I are working hard to get back on track after a tough 2 1/2 years in Tampa. We have five kids—ages 12, 11, 8, 5, and 2—and since moving here, it’s been a real struggle from being scammed moving into rental company home, to issues with financial stability after spending all savings and funds just to move here. Our kids haven’t been able to attend specific appointments we use to have in Miami pediatric offices, and my husband and I have also had to put off important appointments due to some offices being entirely too far from where we are located. Some health concerns from the past year need to be taken seriously, but the care we’ve found here just hasn’t been the same as what we had in Miami.

The school system here also failed to protect my daughter from a VERY serious situation that could have taken a horrific turn. I don’t think the area we reside is good for any of these kids around here and the district has had thousands of complaints against this school alone, it’s also the only middle school in the area, which has horrible reports and I refuse to send my children there another year, I did not have issues like these in Miami and the stress of not being from this area makes it even worse for me and my husband’s mental health doing it alone.

Recently, we came close to losing our car, which was a wake-up call that we need to make a change. I also lost my Etsy shop some time back, and despite trying for months to save up, my bank accounts are already negative. Our lease is ending this month, and we don’t want to renew. We know that moving back to Miami will give us access to better healthcare, better schools we are familiar with, mental clarity, more family support, and a stronger community. We’re asking for help to cover moving costs, travel, and security deposits for a new place so we can get settled before the new school year starts in August.
