Right now, my family is facing the very real possibility of losing our home. We are a religious Jewish family, and our home is more than just walls and a roof. It is where we celebrate Shabbat together, where we learn, pray, grow, and try to build a life filled with faith and love. It is the only place my four younger siblings know as home. Our parents work hard, but we simply do not have the income needed to keep up with the payments. The fear of losing our house has become part of our daily lives. I see the stress in my parents’ eyes.
