My name is Shadi, originally from Palestine. I currently live in Belgium, but my family is still in Gaza, struggling to survive after losing everything due to the war.

Our family home was completely destroyed, and we have lost loved ones—some were martyred, others injured and still suffering without proper medical care. Today, my family has no safe shelter and is living in tents that offer little protection from the cold, rain, and fear, especially during the harsh winter.

Being far away is the hardest part. I watch this tragedy from a distance, hearing fear in their voices and feeling helpless. They are facing severe shortages of food, clean water, electricity, and medicine, and every day is a struggle.

I am not asking for luxury—only for dignity and survival.
