My name is Jada and I'm raising legal funds to help my mom gain full custody of my little sister. We have had my sister since she was 6 months old. Her biological mother, who has been in and out of jail and goes no contact for years gave us guardianship over my sister because she didn't want to and couldn't take care of her.

Today, with the help of her aunt (who also didn't want to keep my sister because her husband did not want a child in the house), the biological mother took my sister from school and took my name and my mom's name off the pick up list and told the school we no longer can step foot in the school. My little sister is 6 years old and is on the spectrum. Any slight change to her daily routine makes it hard for her to function. My little sister doesn't even know her biological mother.

We have reached out to pro bono lawyers and most of them have a wait-list. We are in desperate need of help and are seeking out a lawyer but we are unable to pay the fees.
