Several have asked how can you help….
Dear friends as many of you know I was born in Ukraine and came to America with my mom as a teenager. The rest of my family ( Dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and also new family my half sister and her mom) all still reside in Kharkov and are in need of help.
Since the start of this horrible invasion on February 24th every day and night has been nothing short of a nightmare and it is continuing to be so. There is no words that can describe what my family and people of Ukraine are currently experiencing. The homes are being bombed, grocery stores are destroyed and empty, banks are closed, the heat and electricity for many is not working. The windows have been blown out from the bombs. It’s nearly impossible to even leave the house without hearing open fire and bombing 24/7!
Many of you reached out to see how you could help….we have been counting on prayer but we are also in need of financial help to help provide basic food, water, electricity, heat, medical supplies, transportation and shelter to my family, friends and others that are in our city, Kharkov, that we can reach, help or rescue including animals.
It is heartbreaking how many innocent people and animals have been killed, displaced and continue to be harmed.
My dad, Evgeny Bikshaev, which many of you met when he visited in Colorado or at my wedding, will be documenting and sharing what the financial help is providing. Anything helps even a $1! With my full heart I thank you for anything you can do ❤️. With love…. Katie (Катя) and all of my family!
