My mother and stepfather have dedicated the past 16 years of their lives working for the same employer, living on the property and providing care and support far beyond their job descriptions. Over the years, they have been underpaid and often called upon to help with personal matters, such as assisting their employer’s husband at all hours and driving him to medical appointments. Despite their loyalty and hard work, they are now facing eviction from their home by the very person they have served for so long.

As of January 1, 2026, my family will be left without a place to live, no income, and no savings to fall back on. Both my mother and stepfather are elderly and in poor health, making this situation even more urgent and frightening. They have always put others first, and now they are in desperate need of help themselves.
