My name is Phillis, and I am a single parent to three wonderful children, ages 15, 11, and 10. Recently, our landlord increased the rent on our home, and I am no longer able to afford the higher cost. This has forced us to leave our current home and search for a new place to live in Greenwood, IN. The sudden move has been incredibly stressful, especially for my children, who are having to leave behind their friends and the stability they’ve known.

As a single parent, it’s difficult to manage the emotional and financial strain of uprooting my family so abruptly. My main concern is making sure my children have a safe and stable environment as we transition to a new home. The funds raised will go directly toward moving costs and our first month’s rent, helping us secure a place to live and start rebuilding our sense of security.
