Edit: Monday, August 10; My dad was sent the final notice and will be sent to another tomorrow on August 11 and will then be deported to Mexico.

Whilst me and my family hoped to see him back all things happen for a reason. Only God and time will tell why all of this happened.

Now the fundraiser will be to help support my family since now there are 6 underage children with no father, and with a mother who is sick and can't work.

I don't know what's going to happen now, but as long as we stay united everything will be alright.

Help my family to bring my dad back from ICE detention

On August 3, 2026 my dad Pablo Santiago Gonzalez was detained by ICE officers alongside my uncle after following him from our house on his way to work. He was buying work supplies when an ICE officer smashed their window and dragged him out of the car.

We need help from the community to help fight for my dad. Republicans, Trump and ICE tell us that they are going after dangerous criminals but instead they have gone after a father on his way to work.

My father leaves behind his wife and 7 children. Only one is an adult and the other 6 are minors 3 who are under the age 10. As the main breadwinner his absence creates a huge struggle upon our family and so we find ourselves in need for help and support as we ourselves cannot finance a legal battle.

Any money raised will be used to help pay for any costs that we ourselves cannot cover for, including legal fees, (potentially) bail, fines, and bills so our family can stay afloat while our dad is unable to work.

If you are able to donate that is very much appreciated and if not by simply having my dad and our family in your thoughts and prayers and spreading the word to more people that is more than enough.
